Ideas for my baby's 1st Birthday.?

He is having a jungle themed birthday party this weekend. I ordered a 3 tier jungle cake for the adults and jungle cupcakes for the kids, I also ordered a bouncer, clown, monkey show, face painting and a pony ride. I am giving framed polaroids to the kids and plastic decorated tumbler cups filled w/candy. The adults will get pictures he took by the #1. I also have a pinata and several balloons and decor, any suggestions to help everything run smooth? (I listed the show times and pony ride times on the invites.)

Clearly you're doing this for the older kids and the parents you've invited, because a one-year-old cares about none of that. He wants a gooey cake (I frosted my kids cakes with PUDDING so they'd be really messy for the pictures--and yes, I had to wash and change them right after) and ONE, count them, ONE really cool present...or barring that, the box it came in. Monkeys will probably freak him out...ditto clowns...and he obviously can't "bounce."

All that aside...to make it run smoothly, do two things:
1) Let people "opt out" of the activities that don't fit their kids (traslation, have a kid show or tape on the television), and
2) Limit the time for each event.
